TN: 2005 Long Shadows Sequel Syrah

Oak.

that is all

Reminded me of wood shop in jr. high.

waste of fucking money.

From the same guy that made that '98 Grange?

MERGE THREADS PLZ~~!~

Dude, I noted on the '06 [gen_fro.gif]

yep
same guy

wrong fruit or wrong process or wrong wood

something when horribly awry.

That’s funny Freakmont, Allen Shoup was pouring this wine for me all night and all night long I kept telling him I didn’t like it. The oak never faded and the wine never opened.

SORRY I IZ NOT DETAIL ORIENTED =P

Yep. I opened it at 230 to take to George Hejna’s home. We started drinking it at 530. it was BRUTAL the first hour, worse the second and when George, typically very reserved started taking shots at me about it I knew I brought two shitty wines.

The other wood shop collection pot was a 2005 Dauphine.

I’ll just cut and paste my Sequel note for this one and change the header.

Blender next time?

Ohhhh Mikey - you are playing with fire.

Someone get in touch with Philip…

this could get GOOD

***no bueno on the blender. It’s not rated for oak - only bananas and ice.

Get on IM when you get a chance.

Costco actually had the '04 bottling…so I took a flyer and I will open one tonight with the boyz to see what the collective opinion is and if we differ from the yak’s palate.

I just bought a shitload of syrah and grenache from all over…I guess West Plano got a truck dump or something. Everything from $13 St. Cosme CdR on up to Grange (did not buy) and Dead Arm.

This bromance is really moving along, we can all see.

I think some communal living is in order…

We all can’t have arms as big as yours to keep our own selves occupied.

And it’s arms day at the gym!!!
