2005 Rosenblum Cellars Zinfandel Richard Sauret - USA, California, Central Coast, Paso Robles (4/19/2009)
Sweet, sirupy notes of berries, chocolate and vanilla. Warm and thick in texture with some sweet spice and a peppery bite, this is, by all accounts, a cocktail wine. Alcohol is unobtrusive; acidity is almost non existant…nonetheless, this has its place in the world and is actually enjoyable on a cool spring evening with grilled food on the table.
