Whistler

I’ll be in Whistler next week. Looking for some restaurant recs with great wine lists and if any let you BYOB.

Thanks,

Excellent.

Good luck with snow, it’s the wrong time of year.

Agree on Bearfoot. I am also very partial to Rim Rock Cafe. BYOB is illegal in BC. :frowning:

Bummer on the BYO…looks like Bearfoot has plenty of options…still will probably do some dinners and drink in the Condo’s though.

Snows looking pretty good for Spring skiing. Top of the mountain was a white out yesterday. Heli-skiing on the back side should still Rock!

Loads of good skiing if you stay above mid-station. Great town. You will have a terrific time.

I would also highly recommend the Sundial hotel. Get a suite with a balcony overlooking the village and you can people watch all night. Whistler is just an amazing little piece of paradise…and I can’t even ski all the well.

Probably too late but I have stayed at St. Andrews condos http://www.whistlerplatinum.com/accommodation/vacation-rentals/st-andrews301.php#1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and loved the location. Right in the center of the village. There are only two units - a 2BR and a 3BR. They have a private elevator. Not fancy but large (1600 sq.ft and 2000 sq. ft.) They also had a washer and dryer when I was there. Will stay there again if available.

There is a very good shushi place near the gondolas (I forget the name). As you are walking away from the gondolas, on the right on the second floor. Well worth trying

+1 On what Eric wrote and on the Bearfoot Bistro recommendation. Have not been to, but have heard that Araxi is also a good choice. Have fun Jeff.
