I have been holding off drinking 2013 napa cabs in general, but spur of the moment pulled this out and drank it over dinner last night. WOW. I was expecting a reaaly good cabernet, maybe still tight and tannic and needing a decant, but no. Expectations exceeded. Pnp, the tannins were very much resolved withoit sacrificing the remaining structure, and the wine was deep and long. Savory and earthy notes interplay with the back fruits. Delicious. Terrific wine last night.
