TN: 2020 Julien Sunier Fleurie (France, Burgundy, Beaujolais, Fleurie)

2020 Julien Sunier Fleurie - France, Burgundy, Beaujolais, Fleurie (6/22/2022)
Popped and poured at cellar temp. Lovely nose of black pepper, raspberry fruit and sun baked earth. Nice red and black fruit on the attack with a nice tingly peppery note. Good balancing acidity. A wonderful versatile wine that would go with a huge range of foods. Very nice.

had the 2022 at a restaurant in Denver last night.
very young (duh) didn’t get the black pepper but it went well with the rabbit dish I had

@Mel_Hill Where’d you get rabbit, if you don’t mind divulging?

we had dinner at The Kitchen downtown. it was a Pappardelle with braised rabbit dish.
