TN: 2002 Domaine Bruno Clair Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru La Dominode

Getting towards the end of a case I bought on release and man is this good. It has some black earth, fresh cherry and violets to the aroma. The palate is velvety, with excellent depth of flavour and plenty of geological matter. It has beautiful balance and fine, minerally acidity and a finish that is expansive. Classy stuff.

Down to last bottle of '95.
Sampled last year, was so alive.
'05 in the cellar somewhere.
Which generation will drink, since I don’t dare?

Roses are red
Violets are glorious
Never sneak up on

At least he drinks with conviction.

Great note on a very nice wine. Really wish I could have been bothered buying SLB in 02.

Thank you Jeremy Got a singleton. Now? Hold? Guidance please.

Drink now with full pleasure Mark.
