An initial austere, oyster shell entry gives way to a fuller bodied wine with peach, orange blossoms, and fruta do conde with a saline backbone. Short, crisp finish with a phenolic crack at the very end.

Quite a bit of wood on the nose on entry. Big black fruit profile Cassis, black cherry, blackberry compote. Supple, velvety tannins with a medium plus round acid profile. Well made, but a decidedly rich, full bodied wine.
