2019 Domaine Fourrier Bourgogne (France, Burgundy, Bourgogne)

2019 Domaine Fourrier Bourgogne - France, Burgundy, Bourgogne (1/23/2022)
Initially, the nose is a little reticent showing mostly bramble and earth. I decanted and let it sit for about 2 hours. The fruit (dark ripe cherries, raspberries) now comes out to play with the earth. The bramble is less present and more floral and a hint of spices appear. The palate is not as ripe as the nose would suggest. There is plenty of fruit but with a good acid line to freshen it up. The tanins are still young and present but I’m not getting any bitterness on the finish. The more air it got, the better the balance. My others will remain in the cellar for another 3 years. Good.

Thanks man!
