Wines First tv program PBS

I am not sure if this has been covered, as it is hard subject to search.
I just watched an episode and have to say it is incredibly badly researched. A couple of gems
“There are no tannins in white wines.”
Aged Blaufrakisch is more subtle than younger fresher wines with higher acidity”. [cheers.gif]

It’s pretty awful IMHO. Two self absorbed young women (one more than the other) enjoying themselves. Some decent scenery, producers, wines and cuisine but it strikes me as an oddly pretentious charade for the “arguably qualified” hosts to get TV exposure and party.

I love the locations/wines they have chosen and the general outline of the show, but the overall execution is poor. Although a great vehicle for both food and wine, it really does little to highlight the wonderful wines/regions nor the Michelin starred chefs’ cooking/ingredients. The show lacks any depth.

What does the Argentinian add?
