My first time with this producer. Quite blue fruited with streaks of sour red cherry and raspberries. Perfumed and tinged with soil tones, iron, slate, and liquorice root. A bit sauvage at times. Light to medium-light in body. Bright, clean and juicy on entry. It struggled a bit on the mid-palate, falling a bit short, but an acid and tannin kick at the end lifts it up. A wine I’m not particularly compelled to cellar, but rather drink earlier for it’s freshness.
