TN: Henriot BdB Brut NV

the website says it’s got less than 8 g/l dosage but it tasted sweeter to me. I like it a lot, bought after tasting at Addison in Del Mar, their by the glass offering. Clean and lively with a fine mousse, the fruit is just a bit sweet for me, but for $30–a steal no longer found—it’s a super wine, not as good as Lassalle Cachet Or but definitely worth a quaff.

Nice note Alan. This was our house Champagne a couple years back when we could get it delivered from Costco for a bit under £30 a bottle all in. Thought that was a nice value for that wine. Costco stopped carrying it and nobody else is close, so we don’t have it nearly as often.

Nice note. I have not had a Henriot in a while and I think the last time I did paid around $30 for the NV Brut.
