What’s your NYE bubbly going to be?

I’m thinking 1990 Pol Roger Churchill. Or 96 Gossett Celebris.

Happy NYE, Alan. Have a safe evening.

I’m gonna do some/all of these, I reckon.

2018 Tribute to Grace ‘Gracias Madre’ Blanc de Noirs (100% grenache) → this is great stuff.

Not sure if I’ll drink or just get out the sewing kit.

For us, it’ll be a very small committee of four: my wife, my two young sons and I. Due to the Omicron flare-up, the Quebec government has tightened the sanitary measures: curfew, no gatherings, restaurants and bars are now closed, etc.

So it’ll be just one bottle of bubbly for us:
2015 Cédric Bouchard Côte de Val Vilaine

One of our favorites and I don’t have to go to the offsite to pickup a bottle since we have it on hand. Win-win!

However you spend this NYE, I wish you all joy and happiness and a better 2022!

2014 Uberti Sublimis - in fact, it’s already gone!

Just a normal old night for us, no celebration, in bed by 10. Probably an Egly-Ouriet rose since there’s always one in the fridge (it’s in my marriage contract.)

A Collin Jardin d’Ulysse and something to be decided in the next few hours.

Excellent choice. Drinking very well right now.

I’m opting for richness with mag of 06 Taittinger Comtes BdB.

That Comtes is an excellent choice.

2008 Delamotte bdb, or now maybe Krug 168 given the above info…
