2019 Emrich-Schönleber Monzinger Niederberg Riesling trocken - Germany, Nahe (11/20/2021)
A freshly wound mainspring of a wine. Tightly wound, concentrated, yet precise and clear cut. Filled with grapefruit zest, crushed slate, and cooling herbs. Firm and craggily texture with a lasting mineral and sapid finish. Enjoyable now with a decant, but clearly needs a few years to unwind. Saved some for day 2 to see how it evolves. AP 12 20
