Still finding my smell back but at least I’ve got some of it back!

2010 Domaine Jean-Claude Marsanne St. Joseph - France, Rhône, Northern Rhône, St. Joseph (3/11/2021)
Showed good typicity, lots of purple and dark fruit with a little meatiness. A little blocky and dense but otherwise a fine northern Rhone. -
2018 François Rousset-Martin Côtes du Jura Croix Sarrant - France, Jura, Côtes du Jura (3/11/2021)
Quite shrill to begin with, lots of bruised apples, some caramel and yeasty notes. Became better with air as the acidity settled down. -
2019 François Rousset-Martin Côtes du Jura Cuvée PP André - France, Jura, Côtes du Jura (3/11/2021)
Light in body, juicy red cranberry fruit. Very high acid and a little alcoholic on the nose and finish with a hint of nail varnish. -
2020 Jolie-Laide Trousseau, Cabernet Pfeffer, Gamay Noir - USA, California (3/11/2021)
Pretty, light-bodied wine made in a glou-glou style but very clean. Not much body but it had good acidity that prevented it from being flabby. Very pleasant and my favourite of the four wines. Reminded me of a good Bojo from a cooler year.

2018 Hofgut Falkenstein Niedermenniger Herrenberg Riesling Spätlese feinherb #3 - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer (4/11/2021)
Very pale colour. Not too sweet but the lack of acid showed through despite the zesty lemon fruit. After much hype I wasn’t very impressed by this. -
NV Adrien Renoir Champagne Grand Cru Le Terroir Extra Brut - France, Champagne, Champagne Grand Cru (4/11/2021)
More expressive than the bottle last year which I did like already. More rounded and had a creamier texture, but still had a lovely acidity and balance to the wine.
