TN: 2018 Weingut Leipold Gässberg Silvaner (Germany, Franken)

Loads of chalk and a little vegetal/herbeous note on the nose. While mostly dominated by the minerality on the nose, the wine is bright, fresh, and complex, showing flavors of orange blossom, lemon peel, passion fruit, and gravel on the palate. Dry, well-integrated acidity, and with perfect tension on the palate, it’s hard to put down the glass down. I could drink this all day. (93 pts.)
