TN: 2018 Vincent Pinot Noir Redford-Wetle Vineyard

  • 2018 Vincent Pinot Noir Redford-Wetle Vineyard - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, Eola - Amity Hills (8/20/2021)
Day 1: Really nice on the pop and pour. Soy, cranberry, mushrooms, spice, minerals and unripe strawberries. Complex and medium plus finish. Should evolve over 3 days. 91 points
Day 2: I like this a little better on day 2 with more intensity on the palate. Nice spices, cranberry, strawberries, mushtooms, mild soy and minerals. Medium plus finish. 92 points
Day 3: Drinking these wines young on day 1 to me is pointless. You see no development and true aging potential. Day 3 offers a much more accurate description of this wine which features cranberry, minerals, celery, mild soy, vibrant spices and much more intensity than day 1 and 2. Medium to long finish and very flavorful. Wish it offered more acidity but that is the only minor flaw here. Excellent wine for the money. 92-93 points.
Recommendation: Cellar and drink from 2025 and beyond. (92 pts.)
