TN: 2009 Arcadian Pinot Noir Sierra Madre Vineyard
I’ve been in a rut lately opening wines at home. Too much current vintage (2017-2019) pinot noir. This wine was just, wow. Translucent ruby color. The nose is cranberries, cinnamon, potpourri and roses leaping out of my glass. In the mouth the wine is medium bodied, with earth, sage and sweet red fruits balanced by strong acidity from start to finish. A very tasty Pinot Noir that would be hard to pass on opening another bottle if I had it. This wine could improve with age, but so tasty you might as well drink up! Also love the 2009 Francesca. Apologies for the glass imperfections as our kitchen is being remodeled.
