So if [and/or when] Gallo purchases this property, will Gallo immediately cancel [i.e. refuse to renew] all existing fruit contracts?
It looks like Siduri, Walt, and Beau Marchais all had fruit contracts as recently as the 2019 vintage.
Hall/Walt leases the property. That lease continues on even if the property sells. They kindly sell Pinot Noir to me at Beau Marchais. They were also kind enough to help Roar Winery out and sell them a bit of 2020 fruit after the smoke issues in the SLH. I believe they also sell Chardonnay to Liquid Farm. I think that’s it. With the lease continuing on, I don’t think there will be any real changes if the property sells.
