    Classically Wachau Grüner Veltliner with all the white pepper, cress and inner density I expect from a top bottling. The weight seemed even more than expected, but never verged into heaviness. On the finish here was a distinct element of mint that added freshness. Lovely to drink before, during and after the meal.

Nice. I had the 2013 last week, excellent, could still do with a few more years …

I would buy a lot more Hirtzberger if I had easier access. I love the wines.
