    WOW! This is gorgeous, expressive, and complex on the nose - very bright plum, super stony and salty, violets, cherry compote, just spectacular. Great liveliness on the palate, energetic, bright-fruited, more florals (rose, primarily) and absolutely wonderful in all ways. One of the best wines I’ve had this year, and I will seek out more

Goes to show how important a focus on a producer over AOC is in exploring Burgundy. [berserker.gif]

Had a nice visit and tasting there back in 2011. Bought some of the 09s. Haven’t broached any yet but my travel partner already drank all his and said they were great!

Nice Todd…I will start looking closer at this producer… I do see I that have his '09 Clos Vougeot.
