Bunch of maggies from 1996 Champagne just showed up at Bottlebarn! Any great deals here to be had? I bought a bottle…care to guess?

I ended up buying the Clos des Goisses. Seemed like the best deal. About provenance…this is what they told me about the bottles: "All of the ’96 Mags were purchased from a customer who bought straight from the importer (Rare Wine). They have been cellared in a temp controlled environment for their entirety."
Curtis - The Salon/Krug are still there…their inventory system seems to be spot on…go get um!
Tried to buy the Krug but apparently it was sold out.

April disgorgement of 1996 is great CdG. There are 2 disgorgement, I believe.
with 750s of 96 Salon hitting $1000, the $1995 magnum is a gift. Next best w-s price is $3500.
Thanks for this heads up. Worth the $$. This is probably my favorite Champagne (among a very large number of great ones) over the last ten years except maybe for killer bottles of ‘96 Salon.

I got my bottle and it’s the 2/06 DG. I have not seen any reference to this disgorgement in any notes? Anyone taste one, especially maggies?
