TN: 2018 Domaine Faiveley Mercurey 'Clos des Myglands'

The '15 vintage of Clos des Myglands was a beauty and this is equally as good. Immediately inviting displaying oodles of dark fruits, perfectly ripe and crunchy. There’s some underlying muscle, consistent with its youth, but this will be really humming in 5 to 15 years. In today’s Burgundy market this is a screaming bargain that can be enjoyed now.

Agree this is a great buy. Found this vintage to be a little more closed than 2017 and days 2 and 3 were better than at opening.

Thanks Kent, great to know. I loved the ‘15 but haven’t had any since.

Thanks for the note Kent.

Look out for the '19 in due course! Tasted it last month and it was very good.

What is the ideal drinking window for this wine? I found a 15 going through the cellar recently. Thanks
