Great guy. A real Oregon wine pioneer.

I see also that David Bruce has died.

He did so many innovative things in the 60s and 70s.

RIP Bob McRitchie. I’ve only had one or two of his wines but he was definitely a seminal influence for Willamette Valley wines.

His 1983 Pinots were stellar.
