TN: Two New TablasCreek Whites...(short/boring)

Shared these new TCV arrivals w/ Susan this weekend:

  1. TablasCreekVnyd Viognier Estate/AdelaidaDist/PasoRobles (13.0%) 2019: Med.yellow color; very attractive pear/Viog light floral/carnations slight chalky nose; lightly tart rather Viog/floral/ripe pear/carnations slight chalky/metallic flavor; some tart bright/Viog/pear/floral/carnations finish; quite a pretty pear/Viog way far from DollyParton territory that I suspect will put on weight over the next yr or so; nothing profound now but just a pretty little Viog; would like to see a bit more richness & the DollyParton cleavage. $24.50 (VIN)

  1. TablasCreekVnyd Vermentino Estate/AdelaidaDist/PasoRobles
    (13.5%) 2020
: Light gold color w/ some tiny bubbles; quite fragrant Verm/floral/gardenias/carnations slight mineral/perfumed talc lovely perfumed nose; fairly tart bit lean/minerally/perfumed talc bright/brisk/Verm/floral/carnations slight dissolved/CO2 lovely flavor; very long/lingering bright/brisk/Verm/floral/carnations bit mineral/perfumed talc finish; a very pretty brisk/bright Verm taht will also put on weight over the next yr or so; a steal at $18.90 (VIN)

A wee BloodyPulpit:

  1. Two more lovely TCV whites. Their Vermentino & Grenache Blanc & Roussanne have always been my favorites. The Viog tends to be a quite pretty expression of Viog but I think I’d like it a bit more if pushed closer to DollyParton territory.
