TN: 2017 Domaine Fourrier Bourgogne Blanc

Drinking beautifully. There’s a gentle creamy/lactic quality that marries well to the preserved lemon fruit profile. Something cool lurks below the wine’s unctuous flesh and it has good volume and nice energy. It has mint and fennel notes to the finish.

Thanks for the note. A good reminder to start on my 13s and maybe even the 14s and 15s.

Just grabbed some of the 16’ at auction, can’t wait to try it. The 18’ rouge is also top shelf, drinking above its cost.

Out of curiosity what is the price point for their generic chardonnay?

I think I paid mid 40s for the 17. I really like this wine.
