TN: NV Laherte Frères Champagne Rosé de Meunier Extra Brut (France, Champagne)

  • NV Laherte Frères Champagne Rosé de Meunier Extra Brut - France, Champagne (3/30/2021)
100% Pinot Meunier, DG 3/20…love the dry extraction in this…strawberry field, red licorice, tart cherry skin…SO fresh and bursting with energy and crispness, yet there is a calm to the wine, like a peaceful bathtub full of fresh flowers floating on the top of the still water(geek alert)! Small tingly bubbles invigorate the taste buds…blood orange creme mousse calms…just lovely florals of roses and citrus blossoms…again, LOVE the dryness of the chalky salty minerals and dried wild red berried fruits…super refreshing, expressive, and persistent finish! Just killer! (95 pts.)

I don’t like many champagnes that are 100% Pinot Meunier, but I love this. Even moreso than the Laherte Frères Champagne Extra Brut Les Vignes d’Autrefois I just opened this past weekend. Thanks for the note.

not sure if you drank it or bathed in it but either way sounds like a nice experience.
