TN: 07 Dr H Thanisch Bernkasteler Badstube Riesling Kabinett

Opened last night.

Very nice off-dry Riesling - sweet minerality, apricots, clean and crisp (yet sweet) finish. Good acidity for now, but it won't last too long in the cellar. I'd gladly drink these in the near term.

Another Costco purchase, and now I'm wishing I picked up more bottles, as only 6-9 were there when I picked up my two. I should check back...get whatever is left.

Riesling is a great QPR, in general, and it goes with everything. We had some turkey breast and butternut squash soup (with Sichira hot sauce added for me alone) and it was a great fit, and enjoyable on its own. I have half a bottle left, although it was difficult not to polish off the whole thing, with its low ABV.
Apparently I'm lazy, have a narrow agenda, and offer little in the way of content and substance (RMP) (and have a "penchant for gossip" -KBI)

Get yourself some St. Urbans Hof QBA for crying out loud. How many times do I have to tell you? I think the '07 is about $12 in your neck of the woods.
