Day 1: Pop and pour. Smoke, oak, dark berries, spice and menthol. A big style Merlot but really tasty. Should age for a decade. Just fun to drink. 91 points
Day 2: Benefitted tremdously from day 1. Sour cherry, coffee beans, spice, mild smoke and earth. Very nice wine and should age nicely over six to eight years. 92+
Day 2.5: Really nice wine and picking up some nice peppery notes.
Recommendation: While I don't like all the wines from Januik this one delivers excellent value and is a good representation of Merlot from Washington. (92 pts.)
