Black cherry, plum skin, rooibos, angostura bitters, crushed rocks, green peppercorn, musk. Medium-bodied with plus acidity. Persistent, chewy finish with notes of black olive and chalk (91+).
i’ve had one of their whites which was pretty good. what is the grape here? mondeuse?
Persan & mondeuse, I’m reading 60/40 in general. This is good wine, unsure how I feel about it at the current retail price, but I also thought that about Gonon when it was at $50 .
