TN: 2019 Domaine Gramenon Côtes du Rhône La Sagesse

Generous and giving with black cherry and raspberry fruits. It is luscious and creamy in the mouth and a strand of licorice weaves through the flavour profile. There are light florals and a finish that has a refreshing tang to it. Delicious!

I had this bottle on order and was shipped the 2019 Papesse instead. Jeremy any experience with this bottling?

You got lucky, the Papesse is the more expensive bottling I think from slightly older vines (KL doesn’t necessarily make this clear although that’s my understanding). I find it a bit more grippy and “serious” than Sagasse, but they are both excellent.
