Very interesting with the discussion of the future being most interesting. The topics included grape varietals, the Gran Selezione designation and possible evolution to inclusion of terroir based (village) label designations. Really well done by Antonio.

really enjoyed the pieces I listened to live and am looking forward to listening to the rest tonight! what a great group of panelists to talk about Chianti
I have to add: for the UGAs I agree with Antonio and was glad he made his point. I would much rather see village appellations appear on CCs and CCRs before seeing it appear on the Gran Seleziones. I think it would be much more instructive for general drinking purposes and for understanding on village characters.
