2018 La Crema Pinot ‘Williamette Valley’

#1 Post by Barry Sunderland »

#62 in the WS ‘Wines of the Year’.

Quick impressions:
Dark, nearly opaque, ruby with purple
Aromas of spice, black and red fruits..
Med-full bodied, plenty of zingy acidity, a solid, satisfying finish.

This is QUITE delicious, BUT, varietally, it does not ‘speak’ pinot to me...It seems more akin to a high quality Beaujolais.
