There seemed to be a consensus on the Reds (2010), which begs the question for the whites…
Yes, producer over vintage in Burgundy, but nonetheless I am curious what people think.

I will be surprised if 2014 does not get at least 75% of the vote.

I assume this is Cote D’Or and does not include Chablis, correct? (I would not pick the same vintage for both, at least right now.)

Curious do you prefer over 2014 in Chablis? I have that vintage #1 in CdB and Chablis. 2008?

I like 2007 Chablis (the highs are very high) but 2014 is mighty good and could overtake it. I’m actually not sure about 2014 versus 2004 CdB. The 2004s that are not poxed are really singing from what I’ve had. But it’s hair splitting for me. 2014 is maybe more consistent and widespread quality.

Very few wines at the real top end (in CdB particularly) for me these days. Most of my own judgments are based on Premier Cru.

Almost a clean sweep

Haven’t had a bad 2014 yet. From village to GC

Different question: What was so advantageous; weather, yields, etc. that made 2014 so great?

damn, I got it right! 2014 is great. I think 2017 is a close second

'14 is wonderful but I picked 2000. Superb from the North to the South at all levels.

I wound up picking 2014. But I also love 2000s. Drinking so well. Meursault so good.

Of course, it’s not in the 21st Century!

I love 2000, but picked 2014. Just a fabulous vintage.

Robert Parker lurks here.

More one-sided than red burgundy, which was incredibly one sided. The responses might be correct, but I suspect we have an echo chamber here.

How many 2014 white Burgs have you tasted? If you have had many, you would understand the vote.

TWO FOR 2006!? TWO FOR 2016!? NAME YOURSELVES!!! lol

Wasn’t me, but I have to ask… why was the 2016 vintage so notorious for whites? The frost?

Not me, I picked 2008, because I’ve had a lot more of those than 2014 or 2017. But I had a 2016 a week ago that was brilliant.
