NV Veuve Fourny & Fils Champagne Premier Cru Grande Réserve Brut - France, Champagne, Champagne Premier Cru (1/9/2021)
-- tasted non-blind --
-- 375 mL --

NOSE: light; lightly yeasty, but pretty basic/straightforward; bright citrus.

BODY: pale yellow color; persistent, lively bead; light to medium-light bodied.

TASTE: crisp; lemon-lime; pretty dry, but a noticeable hint of sweetness --- this is not austere; stylistically, similar to Laherte Freres "Ultradition". Good QPR @ $20 for a half bottle. Gut impression score: 88 - 90.
“All these characters spend their time explaining themselves, and happily recognizing that they hold the same opinions … how important they consider it to think the same things all together.” --- A.R.
