    Inky dark purple, strong nose of beef blood. Bold, but well balanced with a good acid and tannic component. The last bottle of the original BD buy, consumed over ten years and the last bottle was just as good as the first. Notes say I only bought 2 on BD 2012, must have confused with the 2006 which I went through 2 cases over the years. I have moved toward a more reserved wine over the years, still good to revisit an old favorite and an Eric recommend from the early years. [cheers.gif] (92 pts.)
