Well I, for one, appreciate any tips like this one - too bad this shop doesn't seem to ship out of state or I'd have been all over it.

Ditto. I tried two different shipping addresses and then gave up. Still, tips like this are great!

67 Wine and Spirits (NY) has 2016 Dunn Napa Valley listed at $49/bottle if purchased in case quantity. They have super limited ship-to states, so wasn't able to take advantage myself, even after checking my state, talking to one of their employees and then checking the states of my immediate family. Hopefully it works for someone and isn't just a pricing error.

Free local delivery makes this a no brainer for anyone in NYC. Glad the math with shipping out west still works out in your favour.

I'm guessing people already bought most of the inventory since this was such a great deal. Bought a full case at the deeply discounted price earlier today, as did at least one other Berserker.

Eh, I don't fault them cancelling the orders, especially given what actually happened. I don't really expect them go give coupons in a situation like that.

I did check the website to see if there was any Dunn Napa Valley at a new price to see if they were BSing, but it appears they were telling the truth that they don't have any Dunn Napa Valley. If it was relisted on their website at another price I think that'd be a different story and a coupon code of some sort would have been nice.

I too put an order in for the Dunn Napa from 67 Wine and Spirits yesterday, got an order confirmation and a delivery confirmation, but then just received the "out of stock" email.

However, if you go on the web site right now it still shows as being available at the $49/bottle price for a case.

They need to change the offer.

If you search for it via the 67 Wine website itself you won't find the 2016 Dunn Napa Valley, only the Howell Mountain. You can still access the Napa Valley page via wine-searcher, but if you go try to add any quantity of the Napa Valley to your cart you will get a notification that it is out of stock.

"Thank you for reaching out. We had run into an inventory failure with our web provider, which also skewed the price into a different item's data. After recovering the data properly, we are able to again offer the wine. Unfortunately the price that was posted at the time you saw it listed is well below our cost of the item. We apologize for the confusion"

the same thing happened to me during the Crush wine progressive sale this weekend. 2017 Drouhin Clos des Mouches was $84.99 and I ordered as soon as the website. got a confirmation, then a few minutes later got an email cancelling the order because it was out of stock. pretty disappointed, that was a great price!
