Older CA magnums tend to have some seepage. If cork bulge and heat damage were apparent, I would not have bid.
The price was worth the risk, to me. Moot now, as somebody else topped me.

This is forcing me back to the retail world. I just grabbed some Lewelling 1993 CS at Blacksmith Wines in NY, for $39 per bottle, plus others.
