Some old school Mondavi Pinot...

#1 Post by B. Buzzini »

I've had these for YEARS...and am really intrigued to try them! The 1985 'Special Selection' is the only bottle in CT, and looks to be from the 1986 Napa Valley Wine Auction. Wondering if anyone has any info, or tasting notes, on it? The 90 Reserve looks to be in great shape as well...and another wine you don't see too often. Really bright cherry looking juice in there, with tons of sediment. I need to "Fu-erize" these and stand them up for a couple weeks to clear the sed! Can't wait! [cheers.gif]
Meursault-head!

This wine was beautiful when released. Only one way to find out!
