2018 Martin Müllen Kröver Paradies Riesling Spätlese Trocken*** - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer (12/29/2020)
White peach, pear, grapefruit peel, dried sage, smoke, and a touch of lychee on the nose. Slightly round on the palate, with concentrated flavors of spice and citrus fruits balanced by zesty acidity and slate minerality. The alcohol is a little pronounced and there is a bitter note on the finish, but the acerbity is restrained by the elegant ripe fruit lingering on the palate. An enjoyable spätlese trocken with a great balance of fruit and spice. (92 pts.)
