TN: 2010 St. Innocent Pinot Noir Villages Cuvée (USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley)

  • 2010 St. Innocent Pinot Noir Villages Cuvée - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley (12/24/2020)
Day 1: Candied fruits, ripe strawberries, bramble, mild spices and damp forest floor. Plenty of flavor and decant wine overall. 89 points
Day 2: Less intense fruit featuring strawberries and blueberries. Bramble, spice, rose petals and earth. Medium plus finish. Flavorful and probably needed this much cellar time. Drink now. 90 points
    Recommendation: Drink now. (90 pts.)

Thanks for the note. A bit off topic but I had a 2011 st innocent Chardonnay a few years ago that was fabulous. Highly recommended.

Natural cork?

Natural cork?

No it was synthetic.

I’ve always enjoyed the Villages Cuvee. Like the Patricia Green Reserve, priced reasonably and a good preview overall what the wines from those producers will be like that year. Both can age, but don’t necessarily need to.
