Merry Christmas!
  • 2019 Beau Marchais Pinot Noir Soberanes - USA, California, Central Coast, Santa Lucia Highlands (12/24/2020)
Nose of high toned fresh red fruits with exotic red raspberries forefront. Palate displays, no, celebrates some of those fresh red fruits with pretty floral notes with slight orange peel which I so love. This is a uniquely styled Pinot that has great balance and poise. Love its weightlessness, this has a beautiful creaminess about it and is deft; shows a nice spectrum of red and blue fruits with some black tea notes and rubbed Madagascar vanilla bean and even though I have already said exotic, I will say it again: exotic. I could not 'single-word' convey it better if I tried. Long and true finish, this is a real joy. A Christmas treat. (94 pts.)
