TN: 2017 Rhys Chardonnay Mt. Pajaro Vineyard

2017 Rhys Chardonnay Mt. Pajaro Vineyard - USA, California, San Francisco Bay, Santa Cruz Mountains (12/23/2020)
Has quite the classic white burg/SO2 nose, some match stick; deliciously medium rich fruit on the palate, fabulous acidity and overall balance, lengthy finish weaves rich stone fruit, hints of saline and mineral, with a lovely savory note mixed in. Actually seems more "classic" than the other Santa Cruz Mountain vineyards, which sometimes show a touch of a more flamboyant tropical note. Just beautiful Chardonnay. (93 pts.)
