2015 Castelgiocondo (Marchesi de' Frescobaldi) Brunello di Montalcino - Italy, Tuscany, Montalcino, Brunello di Montalcino (11/25/2020)
-- decanted 15 min. before initial taste --
-- tasted non-blind over a couple hours --

NOSE: tight; red-fruited with some floral hints.

BODY: dark ruby color, with slight bricking throughout; medium bodied.

TASTE: tannic; medium+ acidity; tight; very good, but needs lots of time, as this is mostly structure right now. Hold for 10 years.
“All these characters spend their time explaining themselves, and happily recognizing that they hold the same opinions … how important they consider it to think the same things all together.” --- A.R.
