Ahhhh yes…back to the vibrant cherry goodness ala 2017! 2018 went dark(Rosato)…a baby Montepulciano, and not very Rose’-like…but still a fun drink. 2019…back to what I LOVE about these wines! Wonderful transparent crushed raspberries, cherries, and strawberries with dirty vineyard feet! Such a good funk…earth, tar, dried herbs…juicy and full flavored with tart and crunchy wild berry fruits…Chambolle cherry/red licorice…cinnamon stick spice, crushed minerality saline…fresh florals of herbs and flowers…ITALY! Just love these wines! (94 pts.)

Why am I drinkin these in winter…SO good! A great wine can be cracked year round…as the urge occurs. The problem is…I ‘urge’ these wines everyday!

Yeah this is straight up delicious…Had the 2019 Cerasuolo not long ago with a two friends while watching the Champions League at home (where else). The bottle emptied very, very fast!
