Removing auction labels/stickers from OWCs?

Anyone have a good way to do it so that OWCs could actually be used decoratively? I’m a little worried about soaking the label with Goo Gone, but that’s all I can think of.

You’d think for a 20-25% buyers premium, these auction houses could afford better quality stickers that peel off cleanly.

Put a hair dryer on them. Heat them up and they should remove easier. Residue might come off with alcohol.

Haven’t used it on wood, but Good Gone works wonders on glass, and I believe it’s supposed to work on wood as well

Ask Rudy, John, or Allen.

They seem unimpeachable label experts.
