Ramonet Vergers question

I’ve come upon a bottle of 1998 Ramonet C-M Vergers not labeled as Premier Cru, which I found odd only because I cannot find any listings in CT for anything labeled Vergers that does not also state 1er cru, i.e. village or declassified or whatever. I get that there’s a lot of garbage in the CT listings, but usually there’ll be some other links/wines to wade through and get one going in the right direction. The label is exactly the same as the default image for the 2002, here: 2002 Domaine Ramonet Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Vergers, France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru - CellarTracker!. The lone exception is that where the image for the 2002 shows “Premier Cru Vergers” this bottle of 1998 simply shows “Vergers.” I guess I’m looking for confirmation of what I already think I know. The labels in my cellar of the Ramonet Premier Crus are of two general types - 1. A white label that one sees when buying grey market wines from importers like Atherton, and an off-white label that’s dominated by some pretty gothic lettering for wines brought in by the official importer, Chateau and Estates Seagrams. Only the white labels from the grey marketers specify premier cru. Seagrams labels do not. This is consistent through a collection spanning more than 20 vintages. The last vintage purchased by me of the hot mess that Ramonet became was 2002. So, which label do you have?

Good God man! There’s mischief afoot! Now there are three labels.

Does it show Vergers and then “Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru AOC” or words to that effect elsewhere on the label? If so, just a question of different typography I think.

Does it look like this? It’s just the age of the bottle when “vergers” is simply known to be premier Cru so they didn’t spell it out on the label.

Buzz - hold onto that bottle. I’m sitting on a lot of Ruchottes from that era as well as some Vergers. Let’s pop em together after this pesky COVID thing sorts out. I’m afraid many of these may be a bit bit weak in the knees, but there could be some revelatory surprises as well. BTW, All of my Seagrams labels are as yours. Only the grey market labels add the premier or grand cru designation.
