Boy am I having an unlucky streak lately.
Purchased 2 bottles from the winery and they went right into cold storage. The first bottle I opened a couple years ago was pretty but showed it needed some more time for the tannins to integrate. This one had that lovely strawberry nose I equate with aged Swans but the rest of the wine had fallen apart. Bricked color, old brown wine with no character. Hope my drain enjoyed it. Cork was pristine. Gave it an extra day to see it it would improve but no dice. Dead far before it’s time. NR (flawed)
