2007 Podere Santa Marie Brunello di Montalcino

Pleasant enough. Good, fruit, recognizable as sangiovese. Lots of far less expensive Chiantis I'd rather drink.

Enjoyable with steak. Maybe it's the vintage that makes it so anonymous? I also ordered a 2006 to try in my search for some new Brunellos I'd like so I'll find out.
Ripe fruit isn't necessarily a flaw.
