2018 Egon Müller Scharzhofberger Riesling Kabinett - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer (11/11/2020)
So precise and chiseled. The clarity of flavors and textures is unmatched in Riesling. Petrol nose initially with floral notes and tart apple. Palate is luxurious and full with a cool stone fruit and green apple note. Finish lingers on and on. This is quite lovely now but so restrained and juvenile. Patience will definitely be rewarded on some good cellar time. (93 pts.)
