This is the very best 10€ wine I’ve ever had. I got 3 a couple of years ago. The first was good, fun, but weak. This is just wonderful. Gorgeous aromatics, with plum, tart cherry, and a hint of caramel. On the palate it is bright, and the acidity is refreshing. The finish is not stupendously long, but long enough, finishing with that cherry plus a hint of tobacco.

Shitey year, I know, but a really lovely bottle.

Great producer. Sounds lovely.

Rarely do I find Burgundy has outright bad vintages once left to age…just less good ones.
